Behind the name

Around 1250 BC a community of free thinkers inhabited modern day Turkey between the bays of Antalya and Fethive. These people were problem solvers. Amongst others, they managed to reconcile different political persuasions of their time. That challenge was considered insurmountable. They were Lycians.

Today, one of Africa’s sternest challenges is infrastructure. Determined to make a dent on this challenge of our time, a group of people decided to make a joint push. They called themselves Lyciar.
